Alex + Charlie

Yall this was probably one of the SWEETEST families I've worked with to date.  I'm so incredibly grateful to have always worked with incredible brides with a great network of support from friends and family but I was pretty overwhelmed by this girl and her kind mama!  Sweet people with a sweet love story made for a fabulous celebration!  I loved her color pallete of white and black set against a golf course background.  It was the perfect coupling of classy and elegant.  My favorite part was probably the old wooden cross that highlighted the ceremony built by www.rustictradesfurniture.com and dripping ever so slightly in flower adorned smilax garland.  Oh how lovely it was indeed!!  Photography by Three Pennies

Raina + Nathan

It never hurts as a bride to have a sister that plans weddings and events for a living!  These sweet sisters were so fun to work with because the bride, Raina, cast her vision for her dream wedding and sister Charissa made it happen!  Raina wanted soft and subtle flowers with fun pops of color mixed in.  I so enjoyed designing the garland focal point for the ceremony.  The bright dahlias brought in an exciting element to the soft pink peonies and garden roses.  I love the picture of Raina smelling her bouquet because it truly was an intoxicating aroma of floral flavors to take in!  Stylized by The Wedding Box Events

Sydnee + Gabe

There's nothing quite as quaint as when a little Atlanta suburban neighborhood comes together to celebrate a wedding in the backyard of the bride and groom.  Sydnee and Gabe met when she moved into the neighborhood a few years back.  Their friendship bloomed into a sweet love story and the couple now share a cute little house after Gabe moved a whole two doors down!  When I got to the location the day of the wedding I discovered a beautiful trellis the couple planned to get married under.  I loved it but there was definitely a crucial element missing... FLOWERS!! So I scrambled with what I had leftover and came up with a spur of the moment design of babies breath and pink carnation.  I was pretty pleased with the results!  My little florist heart had so much fun being creative on the fly!  Happy marriage Syd and Gabe!!

Collette + Ryan

You can tell a whole lot about a bride just from the flowers she has at her wedding.  Take Collette for example... she's bright, fun, colorful, and friendly.  Don't you think hot pink gerbera daisies just exemplify all those character traits about perfectly!?  I certainly enjoyed working with her designing the florals for her New Year's Eve soiree and it is always always a pleasure to be a tiny part of such a big event in the life of a friend!  Cheers to you to a life of laughter, love, and happily ever after for many New Years Eve celebrations to come Collette and Ryan!!

Katie + Akash

So... meet Katie & Akash, they have such BIG hearts and their kindness is both surprisingly refreshing and incredibly contagious.  I mean really, this is girl is just the sweetest.  Like when she found out it was about the same price to rent linens and tableware she decided to purchase them so that she could give them away to a charitable organization afterward.  And since she got married in a barn that was built by men for men in a treatment facility the natural thing any bride would do is invite them to her wedding right?!? I don't think that's the trending reaction for most people on their wedding day, but that certainly didn't stop Katie.  This bride is a real gem and it was an absolute joy to work with her.  It was such a privilege to be a part of their special day and I wish them lots of love and happiness as they continue to pay it forward unified as one for the greater good.

Shae + Mark

Burlap. Lace. Mercury Glass. Flowers. What a gorgeous winter wedding to be a part of!  This was a sweet toothers dream soiree during cocktail hour which featured yummy smores, a hot chocolate bar, and mudslides where you could snuggle up next to your date by a warm outdoor fire.  Shae was absolutely precious as she stood, or rather bounced with excitement, next to her groom under a mantle dripping with white flowers and candles.  Every part of this wedding will be making December THE wedding month for years to come.  So very fun!!!  Photography by Three Pennies
